We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current. However, we do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, current, error-free, or available without interruption.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue website content or features as business needs require.
5. EVENTS, CONFERENCES, SEMINARS, AND WORKSHOPS

Participants agree to:
Provide accurate registration information.
Follow event rules and reasonable instructions from event staff.
Treat speakers, vendors, sponsors, staff, and other participants respectfully.
Refrain from disruptive, threatening, discriminatory, or unlawful conduct.

The WIN Group reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event schedules, speakers, programming, locations, formats, or activities when circumstances require.
If an event is postponed, relocated, modified, or canceled, any available refund, credit, transfer, or rescheduling options will be governed by the refund policy disclosed for that event and applicable law.
Participants are responsible for their own transportation, accommodations, personal belongings, and other expenses unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
6. REGISTRATION, PAYMENTS, AND REFUNDS
Fees may apply to event registration, memberships, advertising, vendor participation, sponsorships, publications, workshops, and other services.
All applicable prices, payment deadlines, required deposits, additional charges, and refund or cancellation terms should be disclosed before a purchase or commitment is completed.
Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement or applicable law, payment obligations must be satisfied according to the terms communicated at the time of purchase or registration.
Refund and Cancellation Policy: The refund, exchange, cancellation, and transfer rules applicable to each transaction will be disclosed on the relevant registration page, order page, invoice, agreement, or other applicable written notice before payment or commitment.
Please review those terms carefully before completing a transaction. Where a specific policy is not provided, contact The WIN Group at info@thewingroup.org before purchasing or registering.
Any applicable refund or cancellation restrictions will be subject to governing law. This section does not eliminate any rights that cannot legally be waived.
7. VENDORS AND EXHIBITORS
Vendors and exhibitors participating in WIN Group events or publications must comply with the applicable vendor agreement, event rules, payment requirements, deadlines, display guidelines, and venue policies.
Vendors are responsible for:
The accuracy of their business information and promotional claims.
The quality, legality, and delivery of their products or services.
Obtaining all licenses, permits, insurance, and authorizations required for their activities.
Complying with applicable laws and consumer protection requirements.
Respecting other participants and the property of The WIN Group and its event partners.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, vendors operate independently and are responsible for their own business transactions, customer service, taxes, liabilities, and obligations.
The WIN Group does not guarantee vendor sales, customer leads, attendance levels, business growth, or financial returns from participation.
We may reject or remove vendor materials or participation that violate applicable rules, contractual obligations, or law.
8. ADVERTISING AND RESOURCE DIRECTORY LISTINGS
The WIN Group may offer paid or unpaid advertising opportunities through resource directories, websites, event materials, publications, digital platforms, and promotional campaigns.
Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that all submitted text, images, logos, business details, claims, and other materials are accurate, lawful, authorized, and suitable for publication.
By submitting materials for publication, advertisers represent that they own or have permission to use the materials and that publication will not infringe another party’s rights.
The WIN Group may decline, edit, suspend, or remove advertising that is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the applicable advertising agreement.
Advertisers are responsible for reviewing proofs, listings, and submitted business information before applicable approval deadlines. Any correction rights, production deadlines, publication dates, and placement commitments will be governed by the relevant advertising agreement.
Unless expressly stated in writing, purchasing an advertisement or directory listing does not constitute an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of the advertiser’s products or services by The WIN Group.
9. SPONSORSHIPS AND PARTNERSHIPS
Sponsorships and partnerships may be governed by separate written agreements specifying contribution amounts, advertising benefits, recognition, event participation, deliverables, deadlines, and cancellation terms.
The benefits provided to sponsors will be limited to those described in the applicable agreement or written confirmation.
The WIN Group will make reasonable efforts to provide agreed sponsorship benefits but does not guarantee specific audience engagement, sales, media coverage, leads, publicity outcomes, or financial returns.
Sponsors may not use The WIN Group’s name, logo, trademarks, or event materials in a manner that implies an unauthorized endorsement or partnership.
Charitable contributions and tax treatment: A sponsorship payment, advertising purchase, vendor fee, event registration, or other payment is not automatically a tax-deductible charitable contribution. Any representation about charitable status, tax deductibility, the recipient of funds, or the use of proceeds must be accurate and supported by the applicable facts and law. Separate fundraising or charitable arrangements may be subject to additional terms.
10. MEMBERSHIP AND PROGRAM PARTICIPATION
Memberships, if offered, may have separate eligibility requirements, fees, renewal terms, benefits, and participation rules.
Membership benefits may vary by program and may change over time. Unless expressly guaranteed in a written agreement, participation does not guarantee employment, contracts, funding, business referrals, investment, customers, or other commercial results.
Members and participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respect the rights, privacy, and property of others.
The WIN Group may suspend or terminate participation for material violations of applicable program rules or agreements, subject to any rights provided by law or contract.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise indicated, the website and materials created or published by The WIN Group—including its name, logos, branding, original text, graphics, layouts, publications, photographs, designs, and promotional materials—are owned by or used with permission by The WIN Group and may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access and use our materials for their intended personal or business informational purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, republish, or commercially exploit protected materials without prior written authorization, except where permitted by law.
Submitting materials to The WIN Group for advertising, publication, or event promotion does not transfer ownership of those materials. You grant The WIN Group permission to use the submitted materials as reasonably necessary to provide the service or benefit you requested, subject to any separate written agreement.
12. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION
The WIN Group may collect information that you voluntarily provide through event registrations, inquiries, membership applications, purchases, advertising submissions, and other interactions.
Information may be used as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, process transactions, administer programs, communicate with participants, provide requested services, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Where required, we will provide appropriate notices and processes concerning personal information rights, marketing preferences, and requests to access, correct, or delete information.
For privacy questions or requests, contact:
Email: info@thewingroup.org
Phone: 301.664.4532
Our Terms & Conditions do not replace a separate Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy published on our website for additional information about data collection, use, disclosure, retention, and individual rights.
13. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICE PROVIDERS
Our website, events, and publications may reference or link to third-party businesses, vendors, payment processors, registration platforms, sponsors, service providers, or other external websites.
These third parties operate independently and may have their own terms, privacy practices, policies, and fees.
The WIN Group does not control all third-party content, systems, products, or services and is not responsible for their independent practices or representations. A listing, link, advertisement, or event appearance does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
Any transaction you enter into with a third party is generally between you and that third party, subject to applicable law and any separate agreement.
14. NO PROFESSIONAL OR FINANCIAL ADVICE
Unless expressly agreed in a separate professional services contract, information provided by The WIN Group is for general educational, informational, networking, and business development purposes.
Our content and programs do not substitute for individualized legal, tax, accounting, investment, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
You should consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding your particular circumstances before making decisions that depend on specialized advice.
15. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our website and general informational content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
The WIN Group does not warrant that the website will always operate without interruption, that all content will be error-free, or that use of our services will produce any particular business, financial, personal, or professional outcome.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The WIN Group Enterprises Inc., its officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or participation in our programs, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
Any additional limitations, indemnification obligations, or risk allocations for a specific event, vendor arrangement, sponsorship, or service must be consistent with applicable law and may be set out in a separate written agreement.
17. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful conduct, material breach of these Terms, infringement of another party’s rights, or misuse of The WIN Group’s website or services.
This provision does not require you to indemnify The WIN Group for losses caused by The WIN Group’s own conduct where such indemnification would be prohibited by law.
Any additional indemnification obligations in a vendor, sponsorship, or service agreement will be governed by that agreement.
18. CHANGES TO SERVICES AND TERMS
The WIN Group may update its website, services, programs, and these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Where required by law or an existing agreement, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise permitted by law. A change to these Terms does not automatically modify a separate signed agreement; that agreement will govern according to its own terms.
Your continued use of the applicable services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
19. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms & Conditions will be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law or other mandatory law applies.
The parties are encouraged to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith communication before pursuing formal proceedings.
Any court proceeding will be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to applicable law and any enforceable dispute-resolution agreement. Nothing in this section waives any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
20. SEVERABILITY AND WAIVER
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
A failure by The WIN Group to enforce a provision on one occasion does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision or another provision in the future.
21. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms & Conditions, together with any applicable Privacy Policy, event rules, purchase terms, vendor agreements, advertising agreements, sponsorship agreements, and other written contracts, govern the relevant relationship between you and The WIN Group.
If a separate written agreement conflicts with these Terms regarding a specific service or transaction, the separate agreement will control to the extent of the conflict, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
