1. PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY
The WIN Group Enterprises Inc., doing business as The WIN Group (“WIN Group,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), is committed to providing clear and transparent payment, refund, and cancellation terms for our customers, participants, vendors, advertisers, members, sponsors, and business partners.
This Refund, Cancellation & Payment Policy establishes the general guidelines for payments made for events, conferences, seminars, workshops, vendor participation, advertising, resource directory listings, memberships, sponsorships, and other services offered by The WIN Group.
Certain programs or services may have additional refund or cancellation terms. Any specific terms disclosed before purchase or included in a written agreement will apply to the applicable transaction, subject to applicable law.
2. EVENT REGISTRATION AND TICKET REFUNDS
Registration fees for conferences, seminars, workshops, networking events, expos, luncheons, and other WIN Group activities may cover venue reservations, administrative expenses, materials, catering, speakers, production, and other event-related commitments.
Unless a different policy is clearly disclosed at the time of registration:
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@thewingroup.org.
Requests should include the attendee’s name, event name, registration date, order or confirmation number, and reason for the request.
Event registrations are not automatically refundable.
Any applicable cancellation deadline, administrative fee, refund eligibility, or transfer option will be disclosed in the event’s registration terms.
If a refund is approved, it will generally be returned through the original payment method when reasonably practicable.
Attendees should review the event-specific refund terms before completing registration.
3. EVENT CANCELLATIONS, POSTPONEMENTS, OR CHANGES
The WIN Group reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event schedules, speakers, programming, venues, or delivery formats when circumstances require.
If The WIN Group cancels an event: The WIN Group will communicate the available options to registered participants. Where an event is canceled without a replacement event or service being provided, eligible registration fees will be refunded or otherwise resolved in accordance with the disclosed event terms and applicable law.
If an event is postponed or rescheduled: Registered participants may be offered the option to transfer their registration to the rescheduled event, receive a credit, or obtain a refund when required by the applicable event policy or law.
If an event is modified: Changes to individual speakers, activities, schedules, or other program elements do not automatically entitle a participant to a refund unless the applicable terms or law provide otherwise.
The WIN Group is not responsible for personal expenses incurred by attendees, including transportation, lodging, meals outside the event, or other independent arrangements, except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing.
4. VENDOR AND EXHIBITOR FEES
Vendor and exhibitor fees may cover booth space, event planning, venue commitments, promotional opportunities, administrative services, and related expenses.
Unless otherwise stated in the applicable vendor agreement:
Vendor fees are subject to the cancellation and refund terms disclosed in the vendor application or agreement.
A vendor who withdraws or cancels may not be entitled to a full refund, particularly after space has been reserved or event-related expenses have been incurred.
Any permitted refund, partial refund, credit, or transfer will be determined according to the applicable written terms.
Vendors remain responsible for meeting payment deadlines and submitting required materials.
If The WIN Group cancels the applicable event, vendor fees will be handled according to the vendor agreement and applicable law.
5. ADVERTISING AND RESOURCE DIRECTORY LISTINGS
Payments for advertising in The WIN Group’s publications, resource directories, website, event materials, and promotional campaigns may cover design, production, placement, printing, distribution, and administrative costs.
Unless otherwise stated in a written advertising agreement:
Refund eligibility depends on the status of the advertising order and the terms disclosed before purchase.
Once advertising has been designed, approved, printed, published, distributed, or otherwise delivered, refunds may be limited or unavailable to the extent permitted by law and the applicable agreement.
If The WIN Group is unable to provide the advertising service purchased, we will work with the customer to determine an appropriate remedy, such as a correction, replacement placement, credit, or refund, consistent with the agreement and applicable law.
Advertisers are responsible for reviewing and approving proofs and submitting accurate information by required deadlines.
Refund requests for advertising or directory listings must be submitted in writing to info@thewingroup.org.
6. MEMBERSHIP FEES AND PROGRAM PAYMENTS
Membership dues, program fees, workshop fees, and other recurring or nonrecurring service payments are subject to the terms disclosed when the membership or service is purchased.
Unless a separate agreement or applicable law provides otherwise:
Membership or program cancellation does not automatically entitle a participant to a refund for a period already provided.
Future recurring payments will be handled according to the applicable cancellation terms.
Any eligibility for prorated refunds, credits, or transfers will be governed by the applicable membership or program agreement.
Members should submit cancellation or billing questions to info@thewingroup.org.
7. SPONSORSHIPS AND PARTNERSHIPS
Sponsorships and corporate partnerships may involve advance commitments for event production, marketing, advertising, recognition, vendor access, promotional materials, and other benefits.
Refund eligibility will be determined by the applicable sponsorship agreement, including its payment schedule, cancellation provisions, and the status of benefits already provided or expenses already incurred.
Sponsors should review their written agreements carefully before making payment. No sponsorship payment should be assumed to be refundable or tax-deductible unless the applicable agreement and governing law support that treatment.
If a sponsored event is canceled or materially changed, The WIN Group will communicate with the sponsor and address the matter according to the written agreement and applicable law.
8. DONATIONS AND CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS
Where The WIN Group facilitates or participates in a charitable initiative, fundraising campaign, or community giving program, the refund and handling of donations or contributions will depend on the nature of the payment, the recipient, the applicable agreement, and governing law.
A payment described as a donation or charitable contribution is not automatically tax-deductible. Donors should verify the identity and tax status of the recipient organization and retain applicable receipts or acknowledgments.
Refund requests involving donations or charitable contributions will be reviewed individually. Nothing in this policy overrides applicable charitable solicitation, consumer protection, or other legal requirements.
9. DUPLICATE PAYMENTS AND BILLING ERRORS
If you believe you were charged more than once for the same transaction, charged an incorrect amount, or billed for a service you did not authorize, please contact The WIN Group promptly.
Include the following information when possible:
Your full name or business name.
The date and amount of the transaction.
The service, event, or purchase involved.
Your receipt, invoice, or order confirmation.
A brief description of the issue.
We will review the information and, where an error is confirmed, arrange an appropriate correction or refund consistent with applicable law and payment-provider procedures.
10. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
All refund and cancellation requests should be submitted in writing using the contact information below.
Email: info@thewingroup.org
Subject Line: Refund or Cancellation Request
Please include:
Your name and contact information.

The WIN Group will acknowledge and review requests within a reasonable period. If additional information is required, we may contact you for clarification.

11. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS AND EXCEPTIONS
Certain fees may be identified as non-refundable before purchase because they cover committed costs, customized work, reserved space, production, or services already provided.
Any non-refundable designation must be clearly communicated before the customer completes the transaction and must comply with applicable law.
No provision of this policy is intended to eliminate consumer rights, refund rights, or other protections that cannot legally be waived.
12. PAYMENT DISPUTES
If you have a question or concern about a payment, please contact The WIN Group first so we can review the transaction and attempt to resolve the issue.
Customers retain any rights they have under applicable law, their payment provider’s procedures, and their cardholder agreements. Nothing in this policy prohibits a customer from exercising those rights.
13. POLICY CHANGES
The WIN Group may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in services, business practices, or legal requirements.
The current version will be made available through our website or other appropriate customer communications. Updated terms will apply as permitted by law and will not automatically alter an existing written agreement where that agreement provides otherwise.
